Even after years of practice, Liangong continues to open new doors for me.
Our bodies are doing things this summer that would have been impossible last year.
I find that Liangong is making a profound difference in my body awareness, reduction of pain and increased flexibility.
The movements feel like they're good for my body and my sleep is improving (one month into Beginning Liangong class).
I’ve become a bit “estranged” from my body and this practice is helping me reconnect.
The Liangong lessons were given in a progressive level of difficulty that builds you up without wearing you down. Thank you for your excellent training.
Liangong has taught me to inhabit and use my body more completely and efficiently.
I continue to do Liangong every morning as an excellent way to start my day. I’ve worked this week on balance and have successfully used the massage movements for sleep and stress. I continue to be very thankful for your expert guidance and training.
Thank you for your guidance and patience over the years. I can really see a difference in strength, balance and coordination. My body awareness is at an all-time high. I am fortunate to be studying under you.
You are a good instructor and demonstrate both patience and compassion for students of varying abilities and personal circumstances.
I could not have wanted a better instructor, someone who has knowledge, patience and a willingness to want students to be better without negative consequences. Thank you so much for being a good teacher, sensitive leader and bearer of high standards in an art in which you excel.
I certainly have learned a lot through practice with you over the years. I continue to admire how patient and caring you are, and how you keep it fresh, helping us learn in many layers.
I went to physical therapy today and got much more out of it. Everything fit in nicely with what we talked about. Thanks for the time and sound advice. (One day after a private lesson.)
I have fairly severe arthritis in my knees. My left one was being especially sore this week and the work we did in [Liangong] class really seemed to help.
I have learned so much from your classes. I no longer stress my joints. I'm working on a more dynamic feeling while standing instead of an unaware sort of tired slouch. I wanted to let you know how much you've helped me and how relieved I am (to have relief from vertigo) to be able to drive, and how good it feels to feel strong again.
(Upon reflecting on a personal weekend meditation retreat.) My biggest learning from the weekend was how much I have gained from your teaching and the Liangong practice. It's positively influencing/working in my day-to-day life in ways I had not realized.
Liangong has acted as a metaphor for my mind, helping me to relax when once I would have been tense and afraid, or helped me be confident that even if I can't do something the first time, it is almost certain that I will be able to do it if I keep trying.
Every morning after practicing is a deep breath, a thank you to you, and to myself for keeping it going. Still deepening, always appreciating.
